HAIR TALK


Every few years I get this itch to cut my hair off.  I did it the summer before I took the bar exam after law school and then again a couple of years after that.  Both times, I went shoulder length -- loved it for about two weeks... then wanted my long hair back.  So, this time, my plan is to go a little more "mid-length" than "shoulders."  I love the messy, wavy look the mid-length cut can have + it still goes into a top knot (which, for a girl that washes her hair twice a week -- is a MUST at this point).  I've scheduled a hair appointment in three weeks -- so I'll keep you posted on the results.

While I have you here... let's talk about something else.  GYM HAIR.  How do y'all feel about people who wear their hair down while working out??  There's a girl who does just that at the gym where I work out and it makes me so hottttttttttt.  I just don't get it.  That's why straighteners were invented.  Right??  It stresses me out.  That, and the guy who feels the need to send a text message after every arm curl.  But that's a whole nother conversation.

  4. Aaaah, you'll have to let us know! I've now cancelled hair cut appointments twice because I think I want to cut it short and then totally chicken out. You're spot on with the top knot thing.
