Hey loves!  Thought I'd share a few pictures from a bridal shower that I hosted at my house this past weekend.  I love throwing really girly brunches -- it's one of the few times that I get to pull out our wedding china for guests.  This pasta salad recipe came across my board a few days before the party and it looked too delish not to make.  I paired it with chicken salad and pimento cheese on croissant with "wedding cake" cupcakes for dessert.  I snagged pearl strands off of Amazon to wrap around the cupcakes to glam things up a bit.  And finally, to complete the look, I finished the table off with these Kate Spade place cards with fun little sayings that matched the gold-foiled invitations  that I'd previously sent out.  I really like to do place cards -- it encourages conversation by placing people together that may not know each other well. OH... and I've been wondering for the longest time how to make the sugar stick to the outside of the cocktail glass -- I just dipped the glass in lemon juice before rolling it in pink sugar sprinkles. Super easy -- and it really adds so much!

After the shower on Friday morning, the rest of our weekend was a blur.  We attended the rehearsal dinner here in Nashville that night before driving down to Jackson for another best girlfriend's wedding festivities.  I'm still trying to get over the fact two of my girlfriends planned weddings on the same day!!  So thankful that I have very understanding friends and an ahMazing hubs that drove me to and from each event.

{On a side note... I received several emails asking for my china pattern after I posted a picture from the party on my instagram.  My main pattern is Haviland Symphony Gold  paired with Philippe Deshoulieres Orsay Corinthe dessert plates.}
