PARIS CITY GUIDE

What I wore: Dress: Vince | Sandals: Tory Burch | Sunnies: Tom Ford

Hey guys!!  Just popping in to share a few snaps from our trip to Paris.  Let's start by saying how much I luvvvvvvv some Paris.  The french architecture + the fashion + the open-air cafes along the streets make me swoon.  We arrived late in the evening after taking the train in from London.  We went straight to our hotel to catch up on some zzzz's only to find out that our hotel's air conditioner was B-R-O-K-E-N.  It was 90 that day (way hot for Paris), and it just wasn't going to happen.  So, we hopped over to a cafe and booked a new hotel -- Hotel D'Aubusson.  We dropped our bags off and headed to a cafe down the street where we noshed on wine and baskets of french fries until 3 in the morning.  The next day we grabbed breakfast a few blocks away from our hotel at Cafe de Flore.  All of the cafes in Paris face their chairs toward the street for people watching -- which in Paris is aHMazing if you're into fashion.  After we fueled up, we headed to the Louvre for a bit and then did some street browsing.  We ate at Cafe George V {twice... oops!} and at tiny, tiny Ferdi (you have to text them for reservations and you MUST have reservations).  Every hour on the hour the Eiffel Tower sparkles -- so we headed down to watch at midnight on our last night. A must see if you're ever in Paris!

Sorry I've been stingy with posts lately.  It's been a busy few weeks.  I finally fought off the jetlag but am still pretty tired.  We traveled down to the 'Sip to get Charlie back from my mom last week (she kept her while we were away).  This is our first weekend to get some R&R in Nashville, and I plan to do as little as possible.  The boy just informed me that we have to go to dinner before 5 o'clock because he has "games" to watch tonight. Sigh... Check back next week for pictures from lovely Portofino!

Thanks for stopping by! X.
